To ensure fair and accurate trade-in valuations, all devices are assessed based on their cosmetic condition and overall functionality. Please review the grading criteria below:
Grade A – Excellent
- Minimal to no visible signs of use
- Screen is in near-perfect condition with no scratches or marks
- Body may have very light, barely noticeable micro-marks
- Device is fully functional
Grade B – Very Good
- Light signs of use such as small scratches or minor scuffs
- Screen may have light surface marks (not visible when device is on)
- Body may show slight wear on edges or back
- Device is fully functional
Grade C – Good
- Noticeable signs of use including visible scratches and scuffs
- Screen may have visible marks
- Body will show clear wear and tear
- Device remains fully functional
Grade D – Fair / Damaged
- Visible cracks on the screen and/or back
- Dents, chips, or significant cosmetic damage
- May include minor functional issues (e.g. weak battery, faulty buttons, etc.)
- Device powers on but condition impacts usability
Assessment Criteria
Devices are evaluated based on:
- Cosmetic condition (screen, frame, back housing)
- Functional performance (buttons, cameras, speakers, Face ID / Touch ID, etc.)
- Battery condition
- IMEI status (must be clear and not blacklisted)
Important Notes
- Devices must power on to qualify for trade-in
- All accounts (iCloud, Google, etc.) must be removed before assessment
- Final grading is confirmed after physical inspection
- Trade-in values may be adjusted if the condition differs from the initial description
